Lindsay Brust: Networking and Palmetto Records

Lindsay Brust shares her experiences about landing her job with Palmetto Records . It's a great testament to networking, preparation, and persistence. Born in 1981, Lindsay grew up in Marion, Iowa. She earned a Bachelors of Arts with a major in Music with Elective Studies in Business, a minor in Business and Public Administration and a Jazz Concentration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Bitten by the New York bug, Ms. Brust joined the staff of Jazz at Lincoln Center in 2003. In 2005 she launched her own management and publicity company, Encounter Entertainment (EE). Through EE, she handles tour press for all kinds of musicians included Wess “Warmdaddy” Anderson and Eliane Elias.

With Pen and Mallets; An interview with Jennie Dorris

Jennie is professionally both a writer and percussionist. She writes articles for the Daily Camera in Boulder, Colorado and produces her own concert series. In this Podcast, she shares some ideas on how you can get the attention of your local press.
